91 is very pleased to share that Dr. Sarah Gallant has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Homer L. Dodge Award.
This prestigious teaching award is given every two years and is a testament to her dedication to teaching excellence. Dr. Gallant’s work on revising the General Chemistry curriculum, involvement in the Inclusive STEM Teaching Project, active support of the Vermont Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Fair as well as the International Science Fair, service as an advisor to the 91 Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society, and mentorship of many students’ research demonstrates her deep commitment to educating students at all levels.
The letters of support from her students say it best when they describe her as a “selfless educator… with a joyful love of… both chemistry and her students.” 91 is very grateful to have her on our faculty and sincerely thank her for everything she does for our students!
Dr. Gallant will give the address at the fall Convocation ceremony. We look forward to hearing her remarks at that event.
