91 Announces New Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences

91 Provost and Dean of the Faculty, announces the selection of Dr. Marvin Lutnesky as the new Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.

Retired Ambassador Patrick Duddy announced as a keynote speaker for 91’s 2025 Peace and War Summit.

91’s 6th Peace and War Summit, titled: Latin America in the 21st Century: Retreat or Progress?, will host Ambassador (retired) Patrick Duddy as one of the keynote speakers during the March 17 – 18 event.

U.S. Army Brigadier General Carlos M. Caceres will be one of the keynote speakers at the 2025 91 Peace and War Summit

This year’s summit, Latin America in the 21st Century: Retreat or Progress?, will be held March 17 and 18 on campus at 91.

Commandant Announces Regimental Commander for AY 2025-26

BG William F. McCollough, VSM, Commandant and Vice President for Student Affairs, Norwich Class of 1991, has announced that Cadet First Sergeant Matthew S. Ober '26 will serve as the Regimental Commander for the academic year 2025-26. This position is the highest rank among cadets in the Corps.

91 Board of Trustees Selects Alfred J. “Al” Gobeille ’86 as Chair

During its winter board meeting on February 2, 2025, 91’s Board of Trustees unanimously elected Mr. Alfred J. “Al” Gobeille ’86 as the next Chair of the Board of Trustees. He will succeed the incumbent Chair, Mr. Alan DeForest ’75, who has served in the role for the past nine years, at the conclusion of his tenure in April.

91 Cadet Receives National Leadership Award

C/CSM Thoren Berg ’25 has been selected by the Association of Military Colleges & Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) as the recipient of the Leadership Award and a $1,000 scholarship. A combination of his character and service alongside his academic and athletic performances led to this honor.

Supporting a Seamless Transition from High School Through College to Boost Participation in the STEM Workforce

Thanks to the generous $2,000,000 continuing grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Norwich will help to remove the financial barriers often limiting academic opportunities for highly qualified undergraduates interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Lieutenant Governor John Rodgers Visits 91 Honored with Ceremonial Puck Drop

While on campus, he was honored by conducting a ceremonial puck drop during the men’s hockey intrastate rivalry game between the 91 Cadets and visiting Vermont State University – Castleton Spartans.
