The 91���� Chapter of Sigman Lambda Chi recently inducted five new members: Matthew Czaja, Grant Schaeffer, Ryan Tremel, John Terhune, and Shelby Castaneda.

It was an outstanding evening for Norwich, with two exceptional faculty members, Dr. Tara Kulkarni, Associate Provost for Research and Chief Research Officer, and Dr. Sarah Gallant, Assistant Professor and Interim Chair of Chemistry and Biochemistry, named finalists, and one attaining the highest honor.

The 91���� men's cross country team returned to the forefront of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in emphatic style, winning the 2024 GNAC Men's Cross Country Championship on their home course on Saturday afternoon.

The Charlotte Touchdown Club announced today that senior linebacker Shayne Leddy (Spring Lake, N.J.) of the 91���� football team was named the recipient of its 2024 Defender of the Nation Award, sponsored by Capital Group of Companies.

Through a competitive selection process, 91����’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) has appointed Bill Lyons to oversee and facilitate cybersecurity, diplomacy, and strategic studies programs and Dr. Robin Saunders as the Cybersecurity and Information Systems Academic Director.

91���� will observe Veterans Day by conducting a Corps of Cadets review in honor of all veterans, past and present. The reviewing officer and guest speaker will be U.S. Army Brigadier General Matt Braman, Director, Army Aviation for Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-3/5/7, 91���� Class of 1995.

Competing against eight teams, the Norwich team showcased their skills to land second in the intermediate division.

91���� continues its Todd Lecture Series with a presentation by Associate Administrator (AA) for the NASA Science Mission Directorate (SMD), Dr. Nicola “Nicky” Fox, on Friday, November 1st, at 7 p.m. in Plumley Armory.

91���� hosts its 30th annual Military Writers' Symposium and awards Mariana Budjeryn the 2024 Colby Award, making her the first woman to receive the honor.
